ETAWG
That' s "Extended Time Alone With God" for you non-Navigators.
- Jet Lag has been mean to us. But, God gave us naps and coffee to solve that problem.
- On Saturday we had an ETAWG with some of the navigators here. It was a nice, structured half-day of prayer. You need those once in a while, you know?
- On Sunday we visited Church of the Holy Trinity, a church in the sister denomination of the PCA. We recognized most of the songs and were able to sing along in English. We were also blessed with a translator for the sermon.

Why Are the Mashed Potatoes Green?
St. Patrick's Day, of course!
Friday:
-Woke up at 4:30 am (second night jet lag)
-Helped out with discussion about "Work Ethic" in a Business English class at the polytechnic university.
-Joined in on a St. Patty's Day party with some of the university students. There was green beer, green sprite, and green mashed potatoes!

Where are All the Pictures?
Sorry about the low number of pictures. Posting megabytes of files from the other side of the world takes a long time, so we're being selective. When we get back, we'll post all of them.
Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic, or Plegmatic?
- Watched some university students perform short plays/skits in english.... very good.
- Spent some time discussing emotions and the 4 Temperaments with third-year university students. Topics ranged from "moody teenagers" to "how God made everyone different" to "the afterlife".
- Visited Independence Square and ate lunch and talked about missions in Kyiv with one of the Navigator missionaries.
Tonight we see if we can take the subway downtown and back without getting lost. Don't worry, we have a cellphone.

We have arrived
Well, after about 19 hours, we arrived safely in Kyiv. Better yet, so did our luggage. So far we've been here for almost four hours and have already seen and learned many things. Our Nav contact showed us around the immediate area of where we are staying, including one of the universities they minster at.
